Weaver Consultants Group is seeking a Staff/Project Civil Engineer with 2–5 years of experience for its Naperville, Illinois office. Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering.
• 2–5 years of experience.
• Experienced knowledge of civil engineering, specifically land development projects.
• Intermediate knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.

Nice To Haves

• Professional license, such as EIT or PE.

Responsibilities

• Work on commercial and industrial land development civil engineering projects.
• Work with technical support staff, subcontractors, and subconsultants.
• Perform site planning, civil engineering design, and prepare land development civil engineering plans using Autodesk Civil 3D.
• Design stormwater detention and sewer systems using various computer software programs.
• Manage permits through municipalities, departments of transportation, sewer districts, and the EPA.
• Participate in professional organizations to promote the professionalism and integrity of the company.
• Maintain key client relationships for assigned projects.
• Participate in training technical and operational staff.
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients, orally and in writing.
• Organize and manage multiple tasks and specific timelines.
• Meet established deadlines.
