At General Motors, our product teams are redefining mobility. Through a human-centered design process, we create vehicles and experiences that are designed not just to be seen, but to be felt. We’re turning today’s impossible into tomorrow’s standard — from breakthrough hardware and battery systems to intuitive design, intelligent software, and next-generation safety and entertainment features. Every day, our products move millions of people as we aim to make driving safer, smarter, and more connected, shaping the future of transportation on a global scale. At General Motors, we are working to create a future with zero crashes, zero emissions and zero congestion. This role offers the opportunity to help transform how vehicles are developed by scaling virtual engineering and calibration methods across complex hardware and software systems. You will join a cross-functional team advancing co-simulation (CoSIM)—the coordinated simulation of physical-system models and virtual electronic control units—to help engineering teams evaluate and calibrate vehicle capabilities earlier, faster and with fewer physical prototypes. The work connects software, controls, systems engineering, calibration, validation and vehicle-program execution in a high-visibility environment where practical execution and technical judgment matter. The Staff Program Manager, CoSIM and Calibration will lead the execution of GM’s transition toward using CoSIM environments for selected calibration and system-regression activities. The role will establish the operating rhythm, governance, priorities and cross-functional accountability needed to turn a promising virtual capability into a repeatable product-development method. This is a Staff-level program leadership role for someone who can move between strategy and day-to-day execution. You will bring structure to an evolving initiative, resolve competing priorities, make risks visible, and create alignment across technical teams and leadership. Success will be measured by adoption of reliable virtual methods, improved execution flow, reduced dependence on development vehicles where technically appropriate, and contribution to a shorter vehicle-development cycle.
