About The Position

TJX Companies is seeking a Staff Product Owner for the Merchandise Operations Management (MOM) Team. This global team, with over 70 Associates across India, Europe, and North America, supports a follow-the-sun capability. The successful candidate will work with minimal guidance to drive large and complex business and IT modernization epics. This role involves engaging with senior IT and business partners to enable business growth, deliver with efficiency and quality, and define robust solutions. The Staff Product Owner will form a leadership partnership with the Scrum Master and Dev Lead.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role in product management.
  • Ability to work with JIRA & Confluence.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to document process flows and simplify complex topics for business audiences.
  • Demonstrated strengths in negotiating and influencing skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good understanding of data, the ability to determine patterns and anomalies.
  • Adapt to a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously and making informed decisions quickly.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Ability to collaborate well with a wide variety of people.

Nice To Haves

  • Functional knowledge of Oracle Retail applications including RMS Foundation and Stock Ledger, ReSA, ReIM, and RPM.
  • Technical knowledge of Oracle Retail applications i.e RMS, RPM, ReIM, ReSA.
  • Experience in a SAFe IT delivery model.
  • SAFe Agile Certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Partnering with the Product Management team to understand customer needs, pain points, workflows, and priorities.
  • Ownership of feature refinement and the lifecycle of a feature through to deployment.
  • Performing work breakdown of features into stories.
  • Identifying test approaches for features and automation opportunities.
  • Alignment with other product owners/scrum teams on work efficiency and coherence.
  • Oversight and validation of high-quality non-functional requirements for features, aligned to the enterprise NFR framework.
  • Ensuring quality, value, and stability of features released to production, meeting business value expectations.
  • Ensuring risk and dependencies are identified and managed.
  • Partnering with support teams to ensure effective service transition.
  • Driving strong and lasting partnerships with leaders in other product teams.
