About The Position

As a Staff Product Manager at Walmart, you will lead strategy and execution for complex products, driving end-to-end outcomes from discovery through value realization. This role requires deep customer and technical insight, strong stakeholder leadership, and ownership of multi-quarter product vision and roadmaps. You will leverage data-driven decision making and emerging technologies to optimize product performance, influence cross-functional teams, and mentor peers. Your expertise will guide product direction, enhance operational efficiency, and ensure alignment with broader business objectives, contributing to Walmart’s continued innovation and growth. The AI & New Offerings Team leverages artificial intelligence to support Spark Drivers, Last Mile Delivery Operators, and Product Managers in optimizing daily operations. The team develops agentic automations that enhance efficiency and streamline workflows.

Requirements

  • Past experience in building production-grade agents; this is a hands-on builder role that'd require shipping code to production
  • Proven experience leading product strategy and managing roadmaps for complex or multiple related products.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
  • Expertise in data-driven decision making, including advanced analytics and experimentation to validate product direction.
  • Deep understanding of emerging technologies such as automation and machine learning to identify innovation opportunities.
  • Ability to translate customer insights and market trends into prioritized, measurable product outcomes.
  • Demonstrated capability in process optimization and driving operational excellence across product lifecycles.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related area and 7 years’ experience in product management.
  • 9 years’ experience in product management or related area.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related area and 6 years’ experience as a product manager, ideally working on consumer-facing, large-scale, highly complex B2B/C products,
  • Background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute multi-quarter product vision and strategy for complex or related products, aligning with business objectives.
  • Lead end-to-end product lifecycle management, coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver value from discovery through launch and scaling.
  • Build deep customer and market insights using data analysis, journey mapping, and feedback mechanisms to prioritize product initiatives.
  • Drive data-driven decision making through experimentation, analytics, and AI feature identification in partnership with Engineering and Data teams.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships, influence technical direction, and remove barriers to ensure successful product outcomes.
  • Mentor product managers, promoting rigorous discovery, roadmap development, and launch readiness.
