Staff Product Manager
About The Position
Zocdoc’s most important asset is our people. As a Staff Product Manager on our consumer marketplace team, you’ll play a critical role in accelerating Zocdoc’s mission to change healthcare. You’ll help shape a future where patients can access their coverage easily, find in network care and be backed by Zocdoc In-network Guarantee. You’ll enjoy this role if you are personally motivated by improving our healthcare system, are not afraid of the complexity of how the health insurance system works, are the kind of person who thrives in ambiguity and can always come up with “crawl/walk/run” solutions, and are serious about your work, but not about yourself. Let’s face it - the way things are going, you kind of need a sense of humor.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in product management, ideally with B2C, marketplace and/or insurance products
- Strong communication and storytelling skills, both written and verbal
- A data-driven mindset and enthusiasm for analytical problem-solving with exceptional attention to detail
- A passion for telling stories with data and driving alignment through insights
- An action-oriented attitude and roll-up-your-sleeves mentality
Nice To Haves
- Experience with SQL, Redshift, Amplitude, Looker, or Salesforce is a plus
Responsibilities
- Developing deep empathy and understanding of patient needs, pain points, and goals through research and collaboration with Design, Trust&Safety, Operations, Finance, UXR, and PMM teams
- Building a long-term vision and strategy aligned with company priorities
- Rolling up your sleeves to drive execution with deep complexity and at scale
- Driving impact through cross-functional collaboration, ensuring alignment between engineering, design, operations, and go-to-market partners
