About The Position

At Rhoda AI, we’re building the next generation of generalist intelligent robots. We own the full robotics stack from high-performance hardware and robot systems to the infrastructure and state-of-the-art foundation world models that control our robots. Our robots are designed to be generalists capable of operating in complex, real-world environments and handling long-tail edge cases, made possible by our cutting edge research and end-to-end system design. We've raised over $450M and are investing aggressively in model research, infrastructure, hardware development, and manufacturing scale-up to make generalist robotics a reality. We're looking for a Product Manager to lead multiple digital interfaces products that people use to operate, manage, and support Rhoda robots. These interfaces span three core ownership pillars: internal fleet management tools, support UIs including teleoperation, and HMIs (human-machine interfaces used by our customers on the floor). This is both a strategic and a hands-on role. You'll work closely with members of the product, human-robot interaction, and engineering teams to set our direction across these surfaces. You’ll also own end-to-end requirements and follow-through on shippable product development while helping us mature this pipeline for future products.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of product management experience with 8+ years of total experience, with a track record of shipping complex, user-facing digital interfaces into production.
  • A clear history of writing detailed requirements and acceptance criteria yourself. You like getting into the details and don't hand them off.
  • Experience taking interfaces from design through development to launch, working closely with other product managers, designers, and fullstack engineers.
  • Familiarity building or significantly improving a product development process, such as design handoff, spec templates, build review, QA, and release.
  • Experience with real-time, data-dense, or operationally critical software, where the UI reflects live system state and errors have real consequences.
  • Technical fluency to work with engineers on APIs, data models, state machines, latency, and backend architecture.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.

Nice To Haves

  • A master's degree in a technical or engineering discipline, an MBA, or equivalent experience in robotics or machine learning.
  • Experience in robotics, industrial automation, manufacturing, warehousing, logistics, or autonomous vehicles.
  • Background in HMI, tele-op, or fleet/asset management software.
  • Experience designing for safety-critical interactions or working within functional safety constraints.
  • Familiarity with tablet or native mobile apps as well as web dashboards.
  • Experience shipping multi-tenant B2B products with customer-facing and internal views of the same system.
  • Experience as an early PM in a fast-moving startup environment.

Responsibilities

  • Own the product vision, roadmap, and prioritization for Rhoda's digital interfaces, so they rigorously meet customer and user needs as part of a coherent product family.
  • Spend time with customer stakeholders, internal operations stakeholders, and field teams to understand real workflows on the floor, and turn what you learn into product decisions.
  • Partner closely with UX/UI design to iterate on design research, concepts, and artifacts and turn them into shippable scope. Know when to hold the design bar and when to make pragmatic tradeoffs.
  • Ship Rhoda’s first internal fleet management, teleoperation tools, and robot UIs.
  • Build scalable products that users love and can use seamlessly.
  • Work with robot software, controls, safety, and cloud teams to determine feasible scope, support development roadmaps, and ensure interfaces accurately reflect real system state and capabilities.
  • Plan ahead for scale and variation across customers and deployments: roles and permissions, localization (including multilingual support), configurable workflows, and the line between standard product and customer-specific needs.
  • Write detailed, unambiguous requirements: user stories, functional specs, state and error-handling logic, and testable acceptance criteria that design, engineering, and QA can build and verify against.
  • Define and track success metrics for each surface, and use them to reduce operator friction, errors, and support load as deployments scale.
