Staff Product Manager, Provider Activation

Headway
•$265,200 - $331,500

About The Position

Headway's mission is to fix the mental healthcare system by building a new system everyone can access, starting by solving the barrier of insurance. The company has automated the administrative work for providers, such as credentialing, claims, and payment reconciliation. Over 75,000 providers in all 50 states use Headway's software, serving over 1 million patients. Headway is building tools for therapists to run their practices, reimagining the experience of finding a therapist, and investing in platform foundations for scale. The company is a Series D funded organization with over $325M in funding from investors like a16z, Accel, and Spark Capital. The Provider Growth team is responsible for the entire lifecycle of how therapists find, join, and build their practice on Headway, from initial awareness to understanding the platform and achieving a healthy patient volume within their first 90 days. This team is central to Headway's business, as active providers seeing patients are the driving force behind the company's operations. This role focuses on provider activation, specifically educating new providers on success with Headway, assisting them in migrating their patients to the platform, and maximizing the volume of high-quality appointments during their initial tenure. This is a high-leverage but historically under-invested area of the product, crucial for provider sentiment, retention, and referrals, as well as the core monetization moment.
