Staff Product Manager - Fusion
About The Position
Fivetran and dbt Labs are merging two industry-leading companies with a shared mission: helping organizations unlock the full value of their data. Together, they are building the data infrastructure layer that helps organizations move, transform, and trust their data. Fivetran automates data movement, and dbt Labs pioneered analytics engineering. This role will drive the delivery of dbt Cloud, translating the product roadmap into clear and precise product requirements. The position involves setting goals, managing priorities, and measuring outcomes. Collaboration with customers, downstream engineers, engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams is crucial for collecting feedback, synthesizing requirements, and prioritizing the development and shipment of enterprise-grade functionality.
Requirements
- 5+ years experience in product and project management or deep experience in a related function (e.g., analytics, open source)
- Excited to balance product innovation with sales-, community- and customer success-driven feedback
- Comfortable discussing, explaining and reasoning about investments in a SaaS platform
- Experience using or building data tools
- Excellent written and verbal communicator
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience working with dbt
- Previous experience working with modern data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Spark, Presto, etc.)
Responsibilities
- Drive the delivery of the dbt Cloud and translate the product roadmap into clear and precise product requirements.
- Set goals, manage priorities, and measure outcomes.
- Collaborate closely with customers and downstream engineers to collect feedback and synthesize product requirements.
- Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, and sales to prioritize, build, and ship enterprise-grade functionality.
