Staff Product Manager, Core Staffing

TrabaSan Francisco, CA
$210,000 - $250,000Onsite

About The Position

Traba is building the autonomous future of industrial staffing. We are the AI operating layer for the industrial supply chain. We started in workforce—temp staffing, the biggest operational pain point for the manufacturing and logistics customers we serve—and used it to embed ourselves inside their daily operations and create a far better customer experience through technology. Now those same customers are pulling us beyond staffing into the broader operational workflows that run their facilities. That foundation gave us proprietary data from millions of shifts and deep enterprise relationships. But our edge is more than data: by connecting to the systems running across every facility and activating the workers already on our platform to execute against them, we are building applied AI that drives real productivity gains and transforms how the global supply chain operates at scale. We are backed by Founders Fund, Khosla Ventures, and General Catalyst. We are looking for an entrepreneurial and experienced Product Manager to own and evolve core staffing workflows that sit at the center of Traba’s marketplace. Our product isn’t an app; it’s the labor we match and deploy into warehouses and manufacturing facilities throughout the USA (and eventually, the world). Every product decision impacts supply, demand, fulfillment, customer outcomes, and marketplace health. In addition to collaborating with software engineers, you’ll also work closely with our operations and field teams to design, build, and ship practical solutions into industrial facilities. This role reports directly to our co-founder & CTO.

Requirements

  • 8–10+ years of experience as a Product Manager
  • Evidence of shipping products that materially moved business outcomes
  • Strong experience in two-sided marketplaces with real supply and demand dynamics
  • Experience building enterprise products with multi-stakeholder customers and complex operational environments
  • Experience building internal operational tooling or systems that supported real business execution
  • Strong technical fluency and ability to work deeply with engineering teams
  • Experience operating in startup environments where speed and ownership matter
  • Desire to work at a startup and cover an exceptionally wide surface area
  • A strong work ethic and desire to build a category-defining company

Nice To Haves

  • Marketplace operator: You have deep experience building products in two-sided marketplaces where supply and demand dynamics are real and operational complexity matters. You understand marketplace liquidity, matching systems, incentives, fulfillment, trust, and the tradeoffs required to maintain marketplace health at scale.
  • Enterprise B2B muscle: You have built products for complex customers with multiple stakeholders, long sales cycles, and operational rollout challenges. You are comfortable navigating environments with regional operators, warehouse leadership, procurement processes, and layered customer organizations.
  • First-principles thinker: You spend equal time thinking about why, how, and what. You understand that strong product judgment often comes from deeply understanding systems and constraints rather than applying generic playbooks.
  • Operations systems builder: You have built operational products or internal tools that powered real businesses. You understand workflows deeply and know how to create leverage through systems that help teams operate more efficiently.
  • Builder mentality: Inventive and scrappy problem solver. You move quickly, embrace ambiguity, and know how to create meaningful outcomes without relying on giant teams or excessive process.
  • Deeply collaborative: You work seamlessly across engineering, operations, sales, customer teams, and leadership. You know how to align stakeholders and build trust across functions.
  • Intuitive, analytical, adaptable, and humble: You balance instinct with data and remain flexible as information evolves.
