About The Position

Webflow is seeking a Staff Product Manager, AI to define the future of AI across its platform, specifically focusing on the Agent Access area. This includes the Webflow AI Assistant, third-party agents via MCP, Agent Instructions, and the underlying AI platform. The role involves setting a multi-year strategy for AI-assisted creation, rallying teams, and unlocking new possibilities for developers, partners, and creators. The position is remote-first, full-time, and permanent. Compensation is zoned based on geographic location, with additional information available on the company's Careers page. The role is also eligible for Webflow's company-wide bonus program.

Requirements

BS / BA college degree or relevant experience
8+ years of product management experience
Deep expertise in AI-powered systems
Track record of owning strategy for large, ambiguous product areas
Experience with platforms, APIs, and extensibility
Knowledge of where LLM-based tools shine and where they break down, from substantial hands-on work with AI agent systems, code generation, or programmable interfaces
Experience setting the bar for "good" on non-deterministic products, defining the evals, guardrails, and success metrics that keep quality high when outputs vary from run to run, and getting a team to hold to them
Experience building both developer-grade tools and approachable products for less-technical creators, and holding both in view without shortchanging either
Enjoy the full craft of building software, including opening a pull request, leading a user interview, prototyping an idea, writing a query to pin down a metric, or writing a sharp brief
Ability to lead through influence rather than authority, setting strategy and bringing Engineering, Design, GTM, and leadership along
Ability to hold your own with senior stakeholders and move decisions forward without waiting to be told
Stay curious, building fluency in emerging AI to speed up both your own work and your team's

Responsibilities

Own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Webflow's agent surfaces: the Webflow AI Assistant, MCP, Agent Instructions, and the AI platform underneath that powers our prompt-based agent experiences.
Set the direction and drive it through to delivery with Engineering, Design, and Data.
Make it all work as one by sequencing work so surfaces reinforce each other, building shared primitives once, and keeping teams aligned.
Set the standard for what "good" means when products never behave the same way twice by defining the quality bar for agent experiences, and the evals, guardrails, and metrics that hold the whole area to it.
Serve developers and creators at the same time by balancing developer-grade surfaces like MCP and APIs against an approachable assistant for visual, less-technical creators.
Drive alignment across Webflow, not just your own teams, by representing the agent area to leadership, turning strategy into committed plans, and navigating cross-functional disagreement independently and constructively.
Roll up your sleeves and build by prototyping ideas, shipping improvements directly, and staying close to the implementation.
Place durable, multi-year bets as the AI landscape shifts by staying close to customers, identifying real standards, and raising the bar on shipping speed and quality.
Raise the bar for the craft around you by setting reusable patterns and standards, and mentoring PMs and partners.
