About The Position

Clutch is building a portfolio of AI agents for credit unions, including collections, origination, fraud, engagement, and activation. This role will own one of these agents end-to-end, from discovery with members and credit union executives through initial implementations and subsequent roadmap development. This is not a traditional product management role; it requires significant customer interaction, often on-site, to shape nascent products and ensure their successful production deployment. The next year will focus on experimentation, prototyping, and learning to drive adoption. The role also involves strategic decisions about agent placement within partner credit unions, collaborating with other AI PMs to determine which agent is best suited for which partner and in what sequence, considering the different needs of various internal buyers (e.g., VP of Collections vs. VP of Lending). You will join a small, senior AI product group operating like a seed-stage startup within Clutch, working closely with a dedicated AI engineering team and a growing bench of AI engineers. This team has a strong connection to the commercial side, with a commercial counterpart influencing the roadmap significantly due to the evolving nature of agent acquisition and expansion strategies. You will also collaborate with AI Ops Managers who scale agents after their initial definition and successful deployment with early customers. The environment is characterized by high ownership, low process, strong opinions, rapid decision-making, and a high degree of ambiguity that is expected to be resolved by the team.

Requirements

  • Product sense above all. You have strong product judgement, taste and customer intuition.
  • B2B product experience. You have directly managed enterprise customers, negotiated scope, and pushed implementations to completion.
  • AI-forward. You have built something with AI yourself and can demo it. Deep AI research experience is welcome but not required; curiosity plus shipped work is.
  • Customer presence. You can run a room with a credit union’s leadership team, on your own, and sell a direction before the product exists.
  • Willingness to travel. Expect roughly 20% on average, with stretches of 50% during critical windows.
  • Relentless forward motion. You need to be persuasive and comfortable pushing without authority.
  • Top-notch communication, written and live. Fast, clear, high-quality customer responses.
  • 7+ years in product management in a fast-paced environment, preferably in B2B SaaS and/or Fintech.
  • Founding backgrounds are strongly welcome.

Nice To Haves

  • financial services or fintech background
  • experience in or alongside a forward-deployed engineering or product function
  • hands-on integration work with core banking, LOS, or CRM systems

Responsibilities

  • Ramp on the agent portfolio and on the credit unions that matter most over the next six months.
  • Rapidly prototype and live trial different agents and use cases.
  • Take ownership of one agent and its roadmap, and build a working relationship with your engineering and commercial counterparts.
  • Join customer conversations and go to at least 2 on-site visits, and start forming your own view of the customer and the product.
  • Meet the internal buyers’ counterparts at our largest partners and understand who owns what inside a credit union.
  • Own discovery for your agent: run customer sessions on site, and turn what you hear into a sequenced roadmap with clear business outcomes. Goal is to ship an agent every 4-6 weeks in production.
  • Ship the first version of the integrations your agent depends on (core, loan origination system, CRM), designed to be reused rather than rebuilt per customer.
  • Drive at least one net-new product go-live, making key decisions and clarifications that unblock it.
  • Work with the other AI PMs to decide which credit unions your agent should launch with, and which should wait.
  • Have your agent live with multiple credit unions, with data you can show partners to prove it is working.
  • Expand the business outcomes your agent is accountable for, beyond the initial use case.
  • Hand scaled rollout to AI Ops with documentation and a repeatable integration pattern, while you keep the product roadmap.
  • Be trusted to walk into a partner executive conversation alongside commercial counterparts and come out with a decision.
