Staff Product Designer

Urban Ridge Supplies•New York, NY

About The Position

Mutiny is seeking a founding staff designer to define the product experience and creative standards for its agentic go-to-market platform. The role will help invent the product language for AI-native GTM software, including its interaction model, creative standards, feedback loops, design system, and quality bar for agent-generated work. The product aims to help revenue teams create customer-facing work with AI teammates that understand accounts, apply brand intelligence, and improve over time. The designer will own core product experiences across workflows where GTM teams request, shape, review, edit, publish, and learn from work. They will also partner closely with engineering to improve the quality of agent output through defaults, constraints, evaluations, brand adherence, and feedback loops. As an early design leader, they will shape product strategy with founders and engineering, influence the roadmap, prototype emerging ideas, and help evolve how design, product, and engineering collaborate. This is an early-stage, ambiguous role suited to a designer who has shipped real products, brings strong and articulate design judgment, is excited about AI as a design medium, thinks across systems and details, and can make a team sharper through candid collaboration. The team works together in person in New York City; the role is not suited to someone seeking remote-first work or a mature design organization with established processes.

Requirements

  • Experience shipping real products that people use.
  • Unusually high design taste and the ability to explain and apply design judgment.
  • Ability to evaluate AI-generated assets, identify why they feel generic or miss the mark, and articulate how to improve them.
  • Interest in AI as a design medium; uses modern AI tools and prototypes quickly.
  • Curiosity about interaction patterns that do not fit conventional SaaS approaches.
  • Ability to think in systems while attending to detailed design decisions.
  • Comfort with ambiguity, strong opinions, and fast feedback loops.
  • Ability to bring judgment, urgency, and candor and to challenge founders and engineers constructively.
  • Willingness to work together in person in New York City.

Responsibilities

  • Design core product experiences for GTM teams to request, shape, review, edit, publish, and learn from work.
  • Design new product areas, existing workflows, and connections between agents, assets, data, and users.
  • Partner with engineering to improve the creative quality of agent-generated work through better defaults, constraints, evaluations, brand adherence, and feedback loops.
  • Shape product strategy with founders and engineering and push on the roadmap.
  • Prototype ideas before they are fully formed.
  • Help evolve how design, product, and engineering work together in an AI-native company.
