Requirements

  • 8+ years of work experience focused on product design across platforms, from mobile to web.
  • Deep understanding of the technology behind digital products and how to collaborate with engineering to make the most of emerging capabilities.
  • An end-to-end rather than waterfall approach to product, with a broad range of product design skills such as design thinking, design strategy, user problem definition, information architecture, and service design.
  • Experience driving user research to understand underlying pain points and needs and inform product strategy.
  • Experience building relationships with teammates and influencing decisions across levels and teams.

  • Experience with A/B testing or other experiment- or data-driven product development organizations.

Responsibilities

  • Design rich, intuitive product experiences for students, instructors, and coaches.
  • Independently identify opportunities and choose methods appropriate to the problem, including project prioritization and planning, research, jobs-to-be-done, user-flow mapping, wireframing, prototyping, and designing workflows across native and web apps.
  • Use quantitative and qualitative data to guide design decisions and apply a hypothesis-driven experimental mindset.
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, growth, and operations to address challenges, manage trade-offs, and build team alignment.
  • Own and mature the design system, evolving patterns, components, and styles across products.

Benefits
