Staff Product Designer, AI

Urban Ridge Supplies•New York, NY

About The Position

Contentsquare is hiring a Staff Product Designer to lead design for Sense, its agentic AI product layer. The role owns Sense Analyst, the underlying object model, and the inline visualizations it returns, from problem framing through shipped detail. It leads the experience strategy and vision for this product surface and shapes its roadmap in partnership with Product Management. The designer will work from the data model up, defining persistent objects and how memory and context carry across sessions and surface to users. They will establish quality standards for AI-generated output, including what trustworthy, high-quality output means and how it is versioned and evaluated with engineering. The role also collaborates with other designers building AI-native product experiences, contributes to peer reviews, and helps less-senior designers develop judgment in this area.

Requirements

  • Staff-level product design experience, mostly in B2B SaaS; analytics or workflow tools involving decisions based on complex information are particularly relevant.
  • Hands-on experience shipping AI or agentic features, such as chat interfaces, generative output, memory or personalization, and human-AI trust patterns.
  • Ability to reason about the data model underlying an interface.
  • Extensive experience shipping zero-to-one work in ambiguous problem spaces, with a clear connection to business outcomes as well as user outcomes.
  • Strong collaboration and facilitation skills, including bringing engineering, Product Management, and design colleagues to shared decisions.
  • Leadership and influence.
  • Experience designing LLM and AI experiences, including prompt engineering.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience designing for enterprise or executive personas.
  • Prototyping in code to test an interaction model before it is built.
  • Background in analytics, attribution, or behavioral data products.

  • Set quality standards for trustworthy AI-generated output and work with engineering on its versioning and evaluation.
  • Partner with engineering on customer-facing agentic workflows and on making AI-generated output versioned and trusted.
  • Collaborate with other designers building AI-native product experiences by reviewing work, challenging ideas, and helping less-senior designers build judgment.
