Staff Physician, Family Practice or Internal Medicine (PER DIEM)

About The Position
Provides medical services to AltaMed patients. Delivers care and services aligned with AltaMed’s Team-Based Care Model, which focuses on population health, evidence-based medicine, appropriate resource use, and integrated delivery of care.
Requirements
- Experience and training as a physician.
- Valid, unrestricted license to practice medicine in California.
- Board certification in the chosen specialty, or Board Eligible with the expectation of becoming board certified within 18 months of employment.
- Education, training, and experience sufficient to meet the requirements for inclusion under AltaMed’s malpractice insurance coverage.
- Previous experience with computer-based systems.
- Valid BLS certification or higher, following American Heart Association or American Red Cross guidelines.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records.
- Leadership and/or management skills.
