About The Position

Practice at the premier tertiary care center in one of the Southeast's most desirable cities! Mission Hospital, the flagship hospital in Western North Carolina, is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible hospitalist to join our dynamic and highly respected inpatient medicine team. This is an exceptional opportunity to practice high-acuity medicine at a regional referral center while enjoying the unmatched lifestyle of Asheville. The position features a 7-on/7-off schedule with resident and APC support available. It includes a closed ICU, no procedures or codes, and a collegial physician-led culture focused on quality and patient safety. There are also opportunities for teaching internal medicine and family medicine residents.

Requirements

MD or DO
Board certified or board eligible in IM or FM
Eligible for North Carolina medical license

Responsibilities

Practice high-acuity medicine at a regional referral center.
