About The Position

TeamHealth is seeking a dedicated advanced practice clinician to become part of our respected hospital medicine program at HCA Florida Putnam Hospital in Palatka, Florida. This full-time opportunity features a convenient 7-days-on/7-days-off schedule, allowing you to enjoy meaningful time away from work while building a fulfilling career in hospital medicine.

Requirements

Current Florida NP or PA license, or eligibility to obtain licensure
National board certification as a nurse practitioner or physician assistant
Previous clinician inpatient experience in hospital medicine, internal medicine, critical care, or emergency medicine
Strong clinical judgment and patient management skills
Ability to thrive in a team-based environment while practicing independently

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care for adult hospitalized patients
Perform admissions, daily evaluations, and follow-up assessments
Develop treatment plans and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, specialists, and case management teams
Assist with care coordination and discharge planning
Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and members of the healthcare team
