About The Position
TeamHealth is seeking an Emergency Medicine (EM) physician to join the team at Los Robles Regional Medical Center, a nationally recognized and award-winning hospital in Southern California. Los Robles Regional Medical Center is a 380+ bed acute care hospital serving Ventura and Los Angeles Counties, and it is the only Level II trauma center in East Ventura County. The hospital offers a 24-hour emergency department, comprehensive stroke center, ICU/CCU, maternity services, Level III NICU, a comprehensive cancer center, heart and cardiovascular center, same-day surgery, and a rehabilitation center. This opportunity offers independent contractor status, resident teaching shifts, coverage for a 57,000 annual volume ED with 36 bays, and overlapping shift coverage with 8 and 9-hour shifts. The role includes experienced advanced practice clinicians, full specialty support, and highly competitive rates. Candidates must be board certified/board eligible in emergency medicine (ABEM/ABOEM) and possess a California license or the ability to obtain one by the start date.
Requirements
- Board certified/board eligible in emergency medicine (ABEM/ABOEM).

Nice To Haves
- Experience in a Level II trauma center.
- Familiarity with a STEMI-designated heart attack center.
- Experience with a certified Primary Stroke Center.
- Experience with EDAP (Emergency Dept. approved for Pediatrics) rating.
Responsibilities
- Provide emergency medicine care in a 57k annual volume ED with 36 bays.
- Participate in resident teaching shifts.
- Work overlapping shifts with 8 and 9-hour coverage.
- Collaborate with experienced advanced practice clinicians and full specialty support.
