SPECIAL OPERATIONS TEAM (ANES) - STAFF PHYSICIAN
About The Position
TeamHealth is seeking highly accomplished anesthesiologists for its Special Operations Team, an elite national group of physicians providing clinical expertise, leadership, and operational support across hospital partners. Physicians work in assignments typically lasting 3 to 6 months, based on organizational needs, and may live where they choose while receiving guaranteed compensation. The role involves supporting anesthesiology practices, fellow clinicians, and patient care at locations across the country. Physicians may assume interim medical director or other leadership roles, with supplemental leadership pay. Cardiovascular anesthesia capabilities are a plus, with a stipend available. TeamHealth provides travel-related assistance and support and will assist with licensing needs.
Requirements
- ABA or AOBA board certification.
- Broad clinical experience and ability to perform a diverse range of anesthetic cases in both care team and personal provision models.
- Willingness and flexibility to travel nationally.
- Ability to obtain and maintain multiple state medical licenses.

Responsibilities

- Travel nationally for assignments, typically ranging from 3 to 6 months based on organizational needs.
