SPECIAL OPERATIONS TEAM (HSLPG) - HM - SPECIAL OPERATIONS PHYSICIAN
About The Position
TeamHealth is seeking a Special Operations Physician for its hospital medicine travel team. Physicians can be based anywhere in the United States and work blocked shifts across states, with the first assignment beginning in Washington. Each physician is assigned to one facility at a time to provide patient care, and planned assignments offer continuous work. Travel is paid, and flights, hotels, and car rentals are provided for blocked time off. TeamHealth will obtain additional state licenses and DEAs as needed. Compensation is fee for service, with an estimated range of $200 to $210 per hour. This is an independent contractor role and is not eligible for the listed employee benefits, including a 401(k), health, dental, and vision insurance, PTO, disability insurance, FSA, group term life insurance, or an employee assistance program.
Requirements
- Be board certified or board eligible in ABIM.
Responsibilities
- Provide quality care to patients at one assigned facility at a time.
- Work planned, blocked assignments across states.
