About The Position
The Staff Physician, Pediatrician (PTNE) provides primary care medical services to the pediatric patients of AltaMed, specifically in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of children's diseases and Injuries.
Requirements
- Experience and training as a physician.
- Valid, unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of California.
- Board certification in the chosen specialty or Board Eligible, with the expectation to become board certified within 18 months of employment.
- Education, training, and experience necessary to meet the underwritten requirements for inclusion under AltaMed’s malpractice insurance coverage.
- Previous experience with computer-based systems.
- A minimum requirement of a valid BLS certification or higher, following the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross guidelines.
Nice To Haves
- Electronic Medical Records experience.
- Leadership and/or management skills.
- Bilingual English/Spanish/Mandarin/Cantonese, depending on location.
