About The Position

Motion Rehabilitation is the physical therapy division of ProCo, a large integrated orthopedic and injury care network in Georgia. Operating across 21 metro Atlanta locations, Motion Rehabilitation offers a unique outpatient orthopedic physical therapy experience within a fully integrated clinical ecosystem. This includes access to in-house orthopedic surgeons, neurologists, chiropractors, anesthesiologists, and advanced imaging, fostering a collaborative and interdisciplinary environment. This role involves delivering comprehensive outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation, including joint mobilization, therapeutic exercise progressions, functional movement training, manual therapy, and return-to-activity programming. The position also includes providing vestibular and neurocognitive therapies, gait training, and therapeutic activities for personal injury and post-surgical patients. Key responsibilities include managing all aspects of patient care and personal injury cases, supervising Physical Therapy Assistants, collaborating with other healthcare professionals, completing documentation within 48 business hours, and maintaining an active Georgia PT license. The target caseload is approximately 16-18 patients per day, with occasional travel to nearby locations for coverage as needed.

Requirements

  • Master's or Doctorate (DPT) in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
  • Active Georgia PT license (or eligibility)
  • 1+ years of outpatient orthopedic experience preferred — new graduates with strong clinical rotations considered
  • Personal injury or third-party liability experience a plus; willingness to learn the PI model required
  • Strong manual therapy and orthopedic rehabilitation skills
  • Excellent communicator — comfortable working with patients, PTAs, physicians, and leadership
  • Ability to manage a high-volume caseload efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment

Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation — joint mobilization, therapeutic exercise progressions, functional movement training, manual therapy, and return-to-activity programming
  • Provide vestibular and neurocognitive therapies, gait training, and therapeutic activities for personal injury and post-surgical patients
  • Manage all aspects of a patient's care and personal injury case — treatment, documentation, and PI/third-party liability service line knowledge
  • Supervise and mentor Physical Therapy Assistants at your clinic location, clinically and administratively
  • Collaborate daily with chiropractors, clinic directors, orthopedic providers, and specialists — this is a genuinely interdisciplinary environment
  • Complete visit documentation within 48 business hours
  • Target caseload of approximately 16–18 patients per day, scaling with clinic volume and support staffing
  • Occasional travel to nearby Motion Rehabilitation locations for coverage as needed
  • Maintain active Georgia PT license and fulfill all CE requirements
