About The Position

As a Staff Pharmacist at Walmart, you will provide patient care and use your clinical knowledge to work to the top of your license. The position offers an annual salary range of $98,000 to $172,000 for a 40-hour-per-week schedule; salary ranges are prorated for other scheduled hours. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. A $20,000 sign-on bonus is noted in the job title.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, PharmD degree, or equivalent FPGE (NABP).
• Pharmacy license by the job entry date.
• Completion of an ACPE-accredited immunization training program, such as APhA, pharmacy school curriculum, or a state pharmacy association-sponsored program.
• Proficiency in pharmaceutical care and implementing best practices.
• Ability to foster relationships with customers and partners.
• Adaptability to patient needs and a variety of medical concerns.
• Commitment to following HIPAA and PHI guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide pharmaceutical care to customers, including processing and accurately dispensing prescription orders.
• Counsel customers about healthcare and prescription medication needs.
• Administer immunizations and other programs developed by Walmart.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Model and guide pharmacy staff in appropriate customer service approaches.
• Participate in community activities, outreach, and events.
