About The Position

Grace Health is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to join their outpatient/retail pharmacy team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for improving community health, especially for individuals facing barriers to healthcare access. This role requires the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively with a large pharmacy team of 25+ members. Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. required
  • Minimum 1-year experience
  • Current state license to practice pharmacy
  • Available Monday-Friday from 7am until 7pm
  • Must thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Work well with a large pharmacy team (staff of 25+)

Responsibilities

  • Accept, validate, interpret and process prescription orders.
  • Initiate and complete calls with providers regarding appropriate drug therapy.
  • Answer questions and provide information to pharmacy customers on drug interactions, side effects, dosage, storage of pharmaceuticals.
  • Verify technician’s preparation and labeling of pharmaceuticals, order entries, charges, and inspections.
  • Maintain established procedures concerning quality assurance, security of controlled substances, and disposal of hazardous waste drugs.
  • Ensure pharmacy is compliant with best practices for 340B pharmacies.
  • Completes pharmacy operational requirements by organizing and directing technicians’ work flow; verifying their preparation and labeling of pharmaceutical; verifying order entries, charges, and inspections.
  • Responsible for Formulary Management – including Therapeutic Interchange or Substitution, and Coverage Review Programs.

  • $2,500 sign-on bonus available: $1,250 after successful completion of your probationary period (typically 90 days), and $1,250 after six months. Must be employed at the time of payout.
