About The Position
The Staff Pharmacist for Infusion collaborates with infusion staff, prescribers, and the pharmacy team to accurately compound hazardous and non-hazardous medications administered in the outpatient infusion room. The pharmacist also works with the buying team and Clinical Specialist to procure medications so they are available for timely infusion. This is a Monday–Friday day-shift position aligned with the operating hours of the Infusion department.
Requirements
- Doctorate degree required.
- Licensed as a Registered Pharmacist by the New Jersey Board of Pharmacy.
- Certificate in Sterile Compounding must be obtained within 12 months of hire.
- HOPA certification must be completed within 3 months of hire.
Nice To Haves
- 0–2 years of experience preferred.
- Prior hospital experience preferred.
- Prior sterile compounding experience preferred.
