Staff Pharmacist - Infusion
About The Position
The Staff Pharmacist for Infusion collaborates with infusion staff, prescribers, and the pharmacy team to accurately compound hazardous and non-hazardous medications administered in the outpatient infusion room. The pharmacist also collaborates with the buying team and the Clinical Specialist to procure medications for timely infusion. This is a Monday–Friday day shift position aligned with the Infusion department’s operating hours. A Doctorate Degree and licensure as a Registered Pharmacist by the New Jersey Board of Pharmacy are required. A Certificate in Sterile Compounding must be obtained within 12 months of hire, and HOPA certification must be completed within 3 months of hire.
Requirements
- Doctorate Degree.
- Licensed as a Registered Pharmacist by the New Jersey Board of Pharmacy.
- Certificate in Sterile Compounding, to be obtained within 12 months of hire.
- HOPA certification, to be completed within 3 months of hire.
Nice To Haves
- 0–2 years of experience preferred.
- Prior hospital experience preferred.
- Prior sterile compounding experience preferred.
