About The Position

Join Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma, as a full-time, night-shift Staff Pharmacist. The Clinical Pharmacist optimizes patient care by providing appropriate, safe, and cost-effective pharmaceutical care, including drug dispensing, participation in the IV admixture program, and providing drug information. The role works under the direction of the Director of Pharmacy and/or the Pharmacy Operations Manager and oversees the work of pharmacy technicians, students, and support staff.

Hillcrest Medical Center is a 656-bed hospital that includes The Alexander Burn Center, The Peggy V. Helmerich Women’s Health Center, Kaiser Rehabilitation Center, cancer treatment technology, and the Oklahoma Heart Institute.

Requirements

• B.S. or Pharm.D. from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy.
• Active Pharmacist license in good standing with the Oklahoma State Board of Pharmacy.
• Obtain BLS certification within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and before providing direct patient care.
• ACLS certification; ACLS is required for attending Code Blue.

Nice To Haves

• Doctor of Pharmacy from an ACPE-accredited college of pharmacy.
• One year of inpatient hospital pharmacy experience.
