Support hospital pharmacy operations to ensure physician orders are reviewed and processed, and medications are dispensed to patients upon receipt, in as safe a manner as possible. Comply with all Hospital and Comprehensive Pharmacy Services (CPS) policies as well as state and federal laws when working in the pharmacy. Requires the ability to work efficiently under broad guidelines and must frequently exercise his or her own judgment in decision making. Requires a very high degree of accuracy. Is responsible for the safety of patients and department personnel under his or her supervision. Adheres to state and federal laws, regulations, standards, company policies and procedures, and Code of Conduct. Maintains the confidentiality of patients, hospital, and corporate information. ENGLISH PROFICIENCY ASSESSMENT WILL BE REQUIRED AFTER APPLICATION.
