About The Position

The Staff Pharmacist provides pharmaceutical care to customers in a Walmart pharmacy, including accurately processing and dispensing prescription orders, counseling customers about healthcare and prescription medication needs, and administering immunizations and other Walmart-developed programs. The pharmacist ensures compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations and models appropriate customer service while guiding pharmacy staff. The role works in an energetic pharmacy environment equipped with resources and technology to support patient care and community health.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, PharmD, or equivalent FPGE (NABP).
• Pharmacy license by the job entry date.
• Completion of an ACPE-accredited immunization training program, such as APhA, pharmacy school curriculum, or a state pharmacy association-sponsored program.
• Proficiency in pharmaceutical care and implementing best practices.
• Ability to foster relationships with customers and partners.
• Adaptability in responding to patient needs and a variety of medical concerns.
• Enthusiasm for community activities, outreach, and events.
• Commitment to following HIPAA and PHI guidelines.
