About The Position

CVS Health is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to support the delivery of accessible, high-quality patient care. The role supports the Pharmacy Manager in leading and directing Pharmacy Technician Support Staff and is accountable for pharmacy management, oversight, and operations. Areas of responsibility include patient safety, professional practice, regulatory requirements, quality assurance, customer service, personnel and inventory management, financial profitability, loss prevention, and workflow management. The Staff Pharmacist helps keep customers and patients healthy through adoption and management of patient care programs. The role calls for empathetic, compassionate care; developing and motivating pharmacy support staff; identifying business opportunities and implementing solutions to improve growth and performance; adapting to change in a dynamic community healthcare setting; collaborating to deliver better outcomes; and contributing to a caring, energetic, and proud team culture.

Requirements

Active Pharmacy License in the state in which the employee is employed.
Must not be on the DEA Excluded Parties List.
Immunization Certification through an accredited organization, such as APhA.
Must be free of pending felony charges or convictions for criminal offenses involving controlled substances.

Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm. D. degree.

Responsibilities

Support the Pharmacy Manager in leading and directing Pharmacy Technician Support Staff.
Support management, oversight, and operation of all aspects of the pharmacy.
