About The Position

As a Staff Pharmacist at CVS Health, you help patients achieve better health by advising on prescriptions and supporting the management of chronic and specialty conditions. You support the Pharmacy Manager in leading Pharmacy Technician Support Staff and are accountable for the management, oversight, and operation of pharmacy functions, including patient safety, professional practice, regulatory requirements, quality assurance, customer service, personnel and inventory management, financial profitability, loss prevention, and workflow management. You help keep customers and patients healthy through adoption and management of patient care programs. The role also involves developing staff, identifying business opportunities, implementing solutions, adapting to change in a community healthcare setting, collaborating to improve outcomes, and contributing to a caring and energetic team culture.

Requirements

Active pharmacy license in the state of employment.
Not listed on the DEA Excluded Parties List.
Immunization certification through an accredited organization, such as APhA.
No pending felony charges or convictions for criminal offenses involving controlled substances.

Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. degree.

Responsibilities
