About The Position

This is a Military Technician position with the 377th Theater Sustainment Command, 718 Transportation Battalion, 643 Regional Support Group, 310 Expeditionary Sustainment Command in Columbus, Ohio. The position requires active membership as a Soldier in the U.S. Army Reserve before a start date can be set. The role provides advice and coordination regarding individual training requirements, reports on program requirements, evaluates regulations for training-program changes, and conducts inspections for compliance with the organizational inspection program.

Requirements

• Active membership as a Soldier in the U.S. Army Reserve is required.
• One year of specialized experience tracking training status to ensure organizational compliance, monitoring a training budget, and submitting training applications for personnel; or qualifying graduate education; or a qualifying combination of education and experience.
• Applicants who held a General Schedule position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-07).
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• A background investigation may be required for a suitability or fitness determination.

Responsibilities

• Advise management regarding individual training requirements.
• Coordinate with management to ensure training requirements are met.
• Compose reports on the status of program requirements.
• Evaluate regulations to identify required changes to training programs.
• Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with the organizational inspection program.
