About The Position

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Staff Officer to join our team! In this role you will get to provide operational support on complex projects supporting a critical mission in the Indo-Pacific region. This critical role demands a dedicated professional with exceptional communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the USPACOM / CCMD structure, functions, and protocols. A successful candidate must be adept at working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment exercising sound judgment and discretion. This is a full-time, on-site position located in Honolulu, HI.

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience providing executive-level support to senior military officers up to (GO/FO) or Senior Executive Service (SES) government officials
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Business Administration, Political Science, Communications). Additional years of experience will be considered in lieu of a degree
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Highly proficient in SharePoint, Microsoft Office tools, and data-sharing tools and databases (e.g Command and Control of the Information Environment (C2IE) and Maven Smart System (MSS)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Active DoD Top Secret security clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Prior military Executive Officer, Staff Officer or similar with knowledge and familiarity of DoW protocols
  • An active Top Secret SCI clearance must be obtained prior to the start date.

Responsibilities

  • Provide targeted staff support to executive leadership to enable effective decision-making and advancement of key priorities
  • Manage high-volume workflows, track strict deadlines, and coordinate strategic communications for Command Staff
  • Prepare executive briefings, issue papers, COA analysis, talking points, and other senior-level correspondence and documentation
  • Assist in the development of strategic engagement plans supporting senior stakeholders and priority initiatives
  • Monitor and screen shared electronic mailboxes and track official tasks
  • Work closely with J2, J3, and J5 teams; maintain day-to-day situational awareness of ongoing and emerging operational requirements, threats, partner requests, and operational risks affecting mission execution
  • Support development and improvement of the organization’s workflows, dashboards, data-management processes, and authorized AI-enabled workflow tools to improve operational visibility and decision support
