About The Position
The Staff Nurse at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center manages and provides care to patients and their families and directs and supervises nursing care provided by other members of the patient care team. The nurse assesses, plans, implements, coordinates, delegates, and evaluates nursing care in alignment with the professional practice model. The team provides patient care and supportive services aimed at positive patient outcomes, maximizing patient involvement in care planning, and reducing hospitalization length. The role contributes to staff engagement, patient experience, quality and safety, and cost-effective care.
Requirements
- Degree in Nursing from a CCNE- or ACEN-accredited nursing program.
- Current Ohio nursing license or interim permit.
