About The Position

Dermatology Professionals is a well-established, privately owned clinic committed to providing patients with an exceptional experience and positive outcomes. The clinic emphasizes a family-oriented culture, work/life balance, flexible schedules, and a team-based approach with supportive staff. The position provides nursing care to clinical patients of diverse ages in a friendly, team-based environment. The schedule is a day shift, Monday through Friday, with no weekends. The clinic states that there are no on-call, night, weekend, or holiday hours.

Requirements

Current Minnesota CMA, LPN, or RN licensure.
Excellent customer service skills.
Basic knowledge of medical terminology.
Effective listening, observational, reporting, documentation, and communication skills.
Self-direction and good organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced clinic.
Ability to adapt resources to the needs of the situation.

Nice To Haves

Previous clinic experience preferred.
Proficient computer skills and electronic health record experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Room and assess patients, anticipating appropriate preparation for the physician visit.
Assist the physician with procedures, treatments, and charting as necessary.
Document vitals, medications, minor surgeries, procedures, and essential notes in the patient's medical record according to clinic policy.
Facilitate communication between patients and physicians and provide general clinic information professionally.
Use excellent customer service skills to positively impact the care experience for patients, their families, and other service partners.
