About The Position

The Staff Nurse in Senior Behavioral Health maintains standards of professional nursing practice and coordinates total nursing care for patients, considering their specific age-related needs. Requirements

• Active RN licensure in the State of Ohio.
• BLS certification.
• Willingness to rotate shifts and units.
• Ability to meet the stated visual acuity, hearing, oral communication, and manual dexterity requirements.
• Ability to push, pull, roll, and transfer or lift 50 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to stand and walk frequently.
• Ability to bend, reach, stoop, and kneel frequently.
• Ability to perform CPR.
• Accuracy, integrity, flexibility, punctuality, and dependability.
• Organizational, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work with self-direction and effectiveness under minimal supervision.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and group facilitation skills.
• Demonstrated ability in conflict negotiation and to exercise diplomacy and tact in potentially volatile situations.
