About The Position
The role encompasses the management of maternal/child patient care through implementation of the nursing process, supervision of licensed and unlicensed personnel, and coordination of interdisciplinary care.
Requirements
- Current nursing license in the state of California.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS card by the effective date of hire/start date.
- ACLS within 6 months of hire or transfer into the unit.
- NRP within 3 months of hire or transfer into the unit.
- Fetal monitoring course within 6 months of hire or transfer into the unit.
- Able to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage, prioritize, and delegate patient care, as well as complete work assignments and other duties as assigned.
- Able to perform the essential physical job requirements.
