About The Position

The Staff Nurse RN manages maternal and child patient care through implementation of the nursing process, supervises licensed and unlicensed personnel, and coordinates interdisciplinary care. The role requires effective English communication, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and the ability to manage, prioritize, and delegate patient care while completing assigned work and other duties.

Requirements

• Current nursing license in the state of California.
• Current American Heart Association BLS card by the effective date of hire or start date.
• ACLS within 6 months of hire or transfer into the unit.
• NRP within 3 months of hire or transfer.
• Fetal monitoring course within 6 months of hire or transfer into the unit.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, orally and in writing.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to perform the essential physical job requirements.

Responsibilities
