Staff Nurse RN (0.8 FTE) - Dermatology Clinic
About The Position
The Staff Nurse RN will work within the context of the Hennepin Healthcare System Relationship-Based Care practice model. This role involves providing and coordinating nursing care, protecting and promoting wellness, optimizing health, and alleviating suffering through treatment. The nurse will partner with patients, their families, and significant others, documenting interventions and care plans, educating patients on their disease process, and ensuring continuity of care. Additionally, the role includes educating patients and families on preventative care to promote health and well-being.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- Possession of a valid license as a Registered Nurse issued by the State of Minnesota
Nice To Haves
- One year of Nursing experience
- Certification in area of clinical specialty
- BSN Preferred. Bachelor of Nursing degree is strongly encouraged. Advancement in academic education will be discussed as part of individual professional development during the annual performance review.
- If you are not currently in an Ambulatory department, you would be subject to the Ambulatory pay scale.
