About The Position

This RN role will work with all Internal Medicine patients including those with Chronic Pain. Within the context of the Hennepin Healthcare System Relationship-Based Care practice model, and under general supervision, the registered nurse provides and coordinates nursing care.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
• Possession of a valid license as a Registered Nurse issued by the State of Minnesota
• One year of ambulatory experience in a primary clinic setting (within the last three years)
• One year of nursing experience in ambulatory caring for patients with chronic pain
• Proficiency with EPIC Inbasket (patient correspondence/message management)

Nice To Haves

• Certification in area of clinical specialty
• BSN Preferred. Bachelor of Nursing degree is strongly encouraged. Advancement in academic education will be discussed as part of individual professional development during the annual performance review.
