RN - 3A Medical Surgical Unit (Nights) FT
About The Position
The Staff Nurse, RN provides professional nursing care by applying nursing skills and processes to develop, implement, and evaluate patients’ plans of care. As the primary caregiver, the nurse provides direct patient care and collaborates with other care team members, physicians, and patients and families to achieve optimal patient outcomes. The role involves access to confidential patient information and independent decision-making, as well as decisions made in collaboration with others. The position works under the direct supervision of the Nurse Manager and indirect supervision of the Director of Nursing. This is a full-time Registered Nurse role in the Medical Surgical–Renal department at Adena Health’s 3A unit in Chillicothe. The schedule is three night shifts per week, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM, with every third weekend required. The stated patient ratio is 1:5–6. The hourly rate is based on years of nursing experience and education.
