About The Position
This position is for a Staff Nurse (RN) in the OB Resource Pool at Hennepin Healthcare System. The role involves providing and coordinating nursing care within the OB Resource Pool, with cross-training to work in OBGYN, Nursery, Labor and Delivery, Pediatrics, and NICU. The nurse will operate under the Hennepin Healthcare System Patient and Family Centered Care model and general supervision. This role also requires training as a charge nurse.
Requirements
- 1 year of current professional nursing (RN) experience in an inpatient hospital setting or Completion of a Women & Children capstone/preceptorship (Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, GYN, NICU, and PEDS)
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- Possession of a valid license as a Registered Nurse issued by the State of Minnesota
Nice To Haves
- Certification in area of clinical specialty
- BSN Preferred. Bachelor of Nursing degree is strongly encouraged. Advancement in academic education will be discussed as part of individual professional development during the annual performance review.
