About The Position
This position is for a Staff Nurse (RN) in the Burn Center at Hennepin Healthcare System. The role operates within the Patient and Family Centered Care model, providing and coordinating nursing care. Key aspects include protecting, promoting, and optimizing health, preventing illness and injury, alleviating suffering through treatment of human responses, partnering with patients and their families, and documenting interventions and care plans.
Requirements
- 1 year of recent adult ICU or PICU professional nursing experience
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- Possession of a valid license as a Registered Nurse issued by the State of Minnesota
- Must be telemetry competent within 6 months of hire into role
- Successfully complete ICU/PICU training
Nice To Haves
- Certification in area of clinical specialty
- BSN Preferred. Bachelor of Nursing degree is strongly encouraged. Advancement in academic education will be discussed as part of individual professional development during the annual performance review.
