About The Position
This position is for a Staff Nurse (RN) in the Burn Center. The role involves providing and coordinating nursing care within the Hennepin Healthcare System Patient and Family Centered Care model. Key aspects include protecting, promoting, and optimizing health, preventing illness and injury, alleviating suffering through treatment of human response, partnering with patients and their families, and documenting interventions and care plans.
Requirements
- 1 year of recent professional nursing (RN) experience in an inpatient Med/Surg setting
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- Possession of a valid license as a Registered Nurse issued by the State of Minnesota
- Telemetry competence within 6 months of hire
- Successfully complete ICU/PICU training
Nice To Haves
- Certification in area of clinical specialty
- BSN Preferred. Bachelor of Nursing degree is strongly encouraged. Advancement in academic education will be discussed as part of individual professional development during the annual performance review.
