About The Position

The Staff Nurse maintains standards of professional nursing practice and coordinates total nursing care for patients, considering their specific age needs. This role involves providing leadership by working cooperatively with other health care professionals.

Requirements

• Active RN licensure in the State of Ohio is required
• BLS required
• Must be willing to rotate shifts and units
• Exhibits accuracy, integrity and flexibility; is punctual and dependable
• Possesses organizational, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
• Demonstrates ability to work with self-direction and effectiveness under minimal supervision
• Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills; possesses group facilitation skills
• Must have demonstrated ability in conflict negotiation and ability to exercise diplomacy and tact in potentially volatile situations
