About The Position
UHS Binghamton General Hospital is seeking a skilled and motivated Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dedicated Surgical Services team. In this essential role, you will provide safe, compassionate, and efficient perioperative care, supporting exceptional patient outcomes across the surgical continuum. The Operating Room RN is responsible for protecting, promoting, and optimizing patient health throughout the perioperative experience. This role emphasizes patient advocacy, clinical excellence, and adherence to professional nursing standards while fostering a caring, patient-centered environment for individuals and their families.
Requirements
- A graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
- Current New York State Registered Nurse License.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s of Science degree in Nursing
- Previous clinical nursing experience in an acute care or ambulatory setting
- CCRN
- Relevant skills certification (i.e., ACLS, PALS, TNCC) as required by home unit assigned.
