About The Position

This position provides care to assigned residents in a caring, safe, and efficient manner, following location standards, procedures, and individualized resident care plans. The nurse administers medications and treatments according to nursing standards of practice and updates care plans as needed. The position is located at Litzenberg Memorial Merrick in Central City, Nebraska, and is full-time on 12-hour night shifts.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensure for the state of practice is required.
• Basic ability to communicate and comprehend.
• Ability to measure and comprehend certain quantities.
• Knowledge of basic nursing skills.
• Knowledge of and familiarity with the therapeutic effects and side effects of all medications administered.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to assigned residents in a caring, safe, and efficient manner, following location standards, procedures, and individualized resident care plans.
