About The Position
Sutter Health is seeking a Staff Nurse II for Perioperative Services at EMC - Eden Medical Center. This is a full-time, non-exempt, regular position with a weekly hour count of 32. The role involves working with patients under various circumstances, including emergencies, and requires assisting with lifting and maneuvering patients weighing over 200 pounds. Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing OR RN license evidences completion of a RN program
- RN-Registered Nurse for the state where care is provided
- BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support
- Ability to make fine discrimination in sound
- Ability to work with bodily fluids and substances
- Contact with patients under a wide variety of circumstances
- Handles emergency or crisis situations
- Subject to varying and unpredictable situations
- OSHA Risk Category I (High Risk)
Responsibilities
- Assist with lifting, supporting, maneuvering, and adjusting the position of patients weighing over 200 pounds.
