About The Position
Looking for an emergency medicine opportunity in East Texas without being too far from DFW? Join TeamHealth at UT Health Cedar Creek, located approximately an hour southeast of Dallas. This is a great opportunity for an experienced nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join a supportive community emergency department with a manageable patient volume and strong physician support. Bring your EM experience to a strong APC team and enjoy the resources and support of TeamHealth.
Requirements
- Experienced nurse practitioner or physician assistant.
- Emergency Medicine (EM) experience.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in East Texas or proximity to DFW.
Responsibilities
- Manage a supportive community emergency department with a manageable patient volume.
- Work within a strong APC team, utilizing resources and support from TeamHealth.
- Provide care in an 11-bed ED with 22,000 annual visits.
- Utilize Epic EMR and CLEO dictation for documentation.
