About The Position

At Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, an exceptional guest experience begins with an exceptional colleague experience. As a Staff Housing Attendant you will be responsible for ensuring our colleague accommodations are maintained on a daily basis and ready for when colleagues move in.

Requirements

  • Maintenance, cleaning, or similar experience preferred
  • General handyperson skills are an asset
  • Valid BC Driver’s License required (comfortable driving in winter conditions)
  • Strong communication skills and team-oriented mindset
  • Able to work independently
  • Physically fit; able to lift up to 70 lbs
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and clean colleague housing units and common areas
  • Complete inspections (pre-arrival, departure, quarterly) and preventative maintenance tasks
  • Carry out minor repairs (painting, plumbing, carpentry, etc.) and respond to maintenance requests
  • Support stock control and ordering of housing supplies
  • Assist with housing operations, tenant support, and policy compliance
  • Monitor emergency housing phone and respond to incidents, including fire alarms
  • Assist with renovation projects, furniture assembly, and appliance changes
  • Perform seasonal duties (snow removal in winter, landscaping in summer)
  • Maintain high health & safety and customer service standards
